IH3834-5 ZWIERZYNIECKI BRIDGE, WROCLAW POLAND – CIVIL ENGINEERING HERITAGE 3D LASER SCAN

This video depicts a typical walk around in the colour laser scan cloud of one of the famous bridges in Wroclaw, where Rig Engineering operates a local branch in Poland. This bridge spans 62 meter long, 22 meter wide and 14 meter high was design by German Engineers in 1897. This single span arch formed, truss type bridge structure interlaced with bracings with suspended deck, was laser scan by a team of Rig Engineering Civil and Structure Engineers by our local Polish engineers in Wroclaw Branch. In total, 23 scanning positions were carried out in single operation to capture this grand structure in the laser cloud scan. With this technology, the captured data can be used for subsequent reverse engineered of As Built Drawings, check for camber, deformation and any other pertinent data that can be extracted and made possible by this laser scan technology. This example is one of many heritage scanning that our Wroclaw Branch personnel have been doing for the good of local community to which our branch is operating from.
