During the last few days of the Hammermill Installation Survey Assignment 3700, a series of On Speculation laser scans to make the most use of the available hardware on board the vessel, was undertaken by Rig Engineering. This data was then archived as a captured asset reality data for subsequent use, should the need arise in the foreseeable future. This was done to mitigate the need of launching another scanning campaign later on should a feasibility study, spatial arrangement for engineering and operational needs for rig modification and upgrade be required. In this instance, data for the mud pump room is located, isolated, retrieved and the usual post processing of registrations of scan, export to the CAD friendly file format was subsequently reactivated. This is some 10 months after the main survey project got started and the On Spec. data is required. This walk around in the cloud video was created to give visualisation of the space allocated for the new additional fourth mud pump as well as a walk around the existing 3 mud pumps and interconnecting pipes and manifolds between them. This video along with registered scan data processed and furnished under this assignment will allow Transocean Operations, Engineering Design House and Fabricators to interrogate the data and deliver detailed installation package of the structural and piping hook up.
